Normal working day
My job mainly consists of assisting users with all IT related problems, both locally here in Copenhagen, as well as in other Hasselblad locations. Moreover I assist the IT administrators in maintaining all the Hasselblad servers and applications on a daily basis. While working for Hasselblad, I feel that I have developed professionally, gaining experience with new programs and technologies, and really developing knowledge and experience that cannot be obtained in the classroom.
Challenges in my role
A lot of patience is definitely needed when dealing with IT related issues, moreover one needs to be flexible, possess good communication skills to translate complex IT issues, and persistence - never giving up until the solution is found.
My colleagues are great, we really get along well in the IT department, and everyone here in the office has been very kind and welcoming. Moreover it’s very nice that we have flexible work schedules, so that I can tailor my work to suit my daily schedule.
