Overview:
Hasselblad University is a full day instructional class provided by Hasselblad factory technical specialists. The class will provide practical training of Hasselblad digital solutions and workflow. The class will consist of four instructional sessions:
Camera System Orientation
Phocus Software Review
Shooting Tethered and Un‐tethered Trouble Shooting Class sizes will be limited to 12 students to ensure focused and individualized instruction. Upon completion of the course, students should have a strong working knowledge of Hasselblad's Phocus software interface, physical use of digital camera technology and an understanding of the workflow from setup, capture and processing of Hasselblad digital files. Who should attend?
Hasselblad University is open to photo assistants, current and potential Hasselblad users, rental houses or anyone interested in learning the technical setup and use of the latest Hasselblad digital systems.

Class Information:
Recommendations It is recommended but not required that students bring their own laptop computer. System should be a MacBook Pro Intel based system, running the latest Leopard OS and should include a minimum of 2gb ram. Those that will bring their own computers will be able to download and pre‐install Hasselblad’s latest version of Phocus software and some sample files that will be used in the software instruction portion of the class. Students are required to verify that the software is properly installed on their computer prior to attending class. Hasselblad will not provide technical support on student’s computers during class hours. Those students not bringing a laptop will be able to follow along with the instructor on a large screen projected display. All students will be provided with a CD containing Hasselblad’s Phocus software and sample images so they can practice using the software at home.
