Featuring a 40 Megapixel Medium Format sensor and the new True Focus technology, the H4D-40 will show you why size definitely still matters.
We are proud to announce the launch of the H4D-40, the latest addition to our Medium Format DSLR range. The H4D-40 features a 40 Megapixel medium format sensor and True Focus with APL (Absolute Position Lock), making auto-focus substantially easier and more accurate for photography professionals. Like the rest of the H system cameras, the H4D has been specially designed to meet the most exacting demands of high-end commercial photographers who require the ultimate in both image quality and performance. Simply put, the H4D is the natural evolution of our the Hasselblad H System and of Hasselblad’s photographic strategy in general.
We are launching the H4D at a series of hands-on events starting on February 10, 2010. To find an event near you click the link below.

We also gave the H4D-40 to some seasoned Pro’s (Michael Grecco, USA, Kevin Then, Malaysia, and Steve McCurry, USA) to put it through its paces. Their experiences are documented in the films below.
